Conclusion
Accuracy of fit is superb and the details are well replicated but with space for improvements too. Though it is small kit with a manageable amount of parts its assembling demands much work and effort to perform a model with a reasonable look.Comments
What a gorgeous little truck! I picked up a pair of these a few months ago and have been slowly building one ever since - it's too bad Toyota or Nissan or whoever manufactures it hasn't civilianized the thing for the American 1:1 market.

Wow--very nice LAV! Mine is gathering dust waiting for me to make time (and with a three-month-old, it will be a little while).

Beautiful model. My congratulations! But there are small discrepancies and defects. It is necessary to remove a seam on tyre covers in the middle. There are no lattices on headlights. There is no white star on a car cowl. There are no handles for closing of a cover of a cowl.
I too did the car, with the same number if it is interesting she can be seen here LINK
I am sorry for bad English language.

Hello everybody,
and thank you very much for your kudos.
"But there are small discrepancies and defects"
You are right, but to build a model strictly OTB implicates some minor inaccuracies.
The mentioned lattices and handles are not provided with the kit as are some other small details like a rearview mirror.
"It is necessary to remove a seam on tyre covers in the middle"
That's correct too, but I had put up with it during assembly and in particular the paint job.
"There is no white star on a car cowl"
Ja, indeed, but the whole decal sheet was somehow brittle, and thus the star could not be used.
This LAV should simply show that a model can be built nicely without any AM sets or extra work like scratch build and by using the colours stated in the instruction only.
(Without the pigments it would have been qualified for the DMoM's beginner class as no advanced painting techniques were used - not even washing...)
Believe me, that's also a challenge.

Das ist sehr gut Marco. Ich liebe es!
Much better than my effort: LINK
And I know what you mean about the decals.
Gruss,
Sean
