I am big fan of british armor and the Challenger is my favorite tank. I think you did a pretty good job with this one. The camo netting is fantastic! Weathering is just right. Tankers will make it even more realistic. Great!

Thanks Noli and thanks Armorama for posting the photo feature.
It's an impressive tank and a huge one too.I had a lot of fun building this old Trumpeter kit.

Paul. Cracking build mate you’ve transformed the old trumpeter kit!
One thing that’s got me thinking, the bushes on the front of the hull
Do you have a photo you based this on?
Jaymes.

Thanks Jaymes!
I got the idea from a kosovo challenger.Doesn't look like what I've done...but that's ok.In the photo the crew used some tall grass.

Great looking Challenger!
The grass on the fenders look a little strange, but if that is how the crew placed it in the photo it is pr. definition realistic in my world.
The weathering is superb and the netting is very good looking.
Thanks for sharing

Thanks Jesper!
It looks strange to me too now.
If I didn't had the bright idea to glue the grass it would have been gone by now.
But this surely isn't my last challenger 2, the new one from Trumpeter will follow in the future.

Paul,
Great work on the Challenger II, hope you'll post photos of your next Challenger build as well. I think your work on the M1A1 Abrams was equally outstanding. Looks like the weather outside is perfect for your Tiger build.
Best,
Scott

Nice build Paul. I agree with everyone else, the cammo netting is too cool and you paint work and weathering is spot on.
