The build looks great, though I do think that weathering was overdone, looks like it was just painted a brown color to be quite honest. I can hardly see the base coat, with all the rain in Vietnam I'm guessing it would wash most of that stuff on the sides off.

very nice..the weathering and the tracks looks real..did you scratchbuilt the grille lights guard? kinda rusty all over. the tropical climate was beating it. thanks for sharing.

Anyway, it's true the pics don't show a lot of the base colour. In real you can see the OD a bit better but well, I don't have no proffesional photo studio and proffesional camera so I was happy with these pics.
Also I think it's a matter of taste. One says it's overdone, the other likes it. Personally, I agree it's pretty heavy weathered, but well, it's a recovery vehicle and I wanted to give it the look of a real workhorse. And I just had a lot of fun using pastels for the first time, lol :-)
