Opel Blitz Radio Truck

Jeremy, I did include a write up with the pics that included a description of the paints and weathering techniques used, but this was published as a Model on Display (which I don't believe includes narratives), so I'll touch on it here. The Opel has been heavily faded to give it a well used/worn look. The kit has been air brushed and weathered mostly with acrylics. For starters, the overall kit was shot with a base coat of Model Master Engine gray, followed by successive layers of lightened Gunship gray and dry brushed with Gull gray. The Rustall weathering system provides the rust/rough looking areas of the model. Also, here is a link to the gallery that has a few more Opel pics in it, including one with the Opel sitting next to a US Army radio command unit that is a mix of Tamiya and Roo Resin offerings.
