Hola Guys!

The little half track is now ready for painting! Real fun to build up even the frustrating PE parts...I don't think my tactic that the more super glue the better, works when working with PE

Im going to paint the interior first and then assemble the rest, putty what needs to be puttied, mud it up and then paint it with my airbrush, will be very intresting!

Anyways, here are some pictures!

The sub assemblies

Those pesky bins, I should have just used the kit ones...always have to make it hard!

Some more pesky bins

Seat belts!

And finally the back!

Let me know what I can do to improve my PE skills!

Anders

Lookin` good dude.
I`m now working on a similar vehicle.. The Sdkfz 250/10 with 3,7 pak from DML so I follow this SBS with great interest.
Go on and show us more

It looks great Anders! I think you did a pretty good job with the PE, it looks pretty neatly folded. I for one used once and have since dreaded the possibility of using it again. One thing you can do for glueing small PE is to use Future instead of superglue. Since the Future takes longer to dry you have more time to manouver the PE into position.

I really like the way you have everything broken down into subassemblies.

I really like the look of this kit. The PE set really highlights the model too. I'm going to have to copy this. I'll look at your other posting to get the kit number and the PE set. Hopefully I'll find it there but I really like the way this kit looks and want to build one for my collection

:-) Looking good Anders,
Are the tracks in the kit? they look like individual links. This is a very neat looking model, almost (almost) makes me want to have a go at armour :-)

Hola Guys!

Thanks for the comments! The kit is DML SdKfz 250/9 with Eduard PE set for it and Jordi Rubi (sp?) Aluminum barrel, I don't know the kit #'s. The tracks are idividual links and come with the kit.

As far as PE being a trip...well a very frustrating trip but worth it when you get your sanety back

Very good work! I just love to see models with lot of extra detailing... that when I build one I'll never want to paint it.
