Hi to all,
here are some pics of my nearly finished Tasca Firefly. It's mostly BOB. I added some stowage, MV lenses and Hornet heads for the crew. Painting was done in acrylics. It was really nice to build without any problems.
Thanks for looking.
greetings robert

Good work. A little clean for my taste though
The Tasca kit is a joy to build isn't it?

Robert,
Looks great! One comment. On your wooden boxes, there is a band that goes around the middle. I believe it should be metal. Not sure if it should be black or silver. Perhaps someone can jump in here.

TOO CLEAN. I see it's weathered, but it does not look dirty. You do good airbrush. Time to get out the hand brush.
Needs an antenna.

Rob
I don't agree. I think this is weathered just right (for NWE '44 anyway) as far as I know, June '44 was one of the wettest for years, followed by the hottest July and August for years which turned June's mud into clinging dust. Team this with the heavy losses experienced by the Allied tanks and you have a vehicle that wouldn't have been 'in country' for long and so (I reckon) would've looked much like this.
I love it, well done.

Looks good, and I rather like the lighter weathering.

Good evening to all,
first thank you very much for all your comments, I really apreciate it. I think that's the way I can learn.
Pat: Yes,it was realy a joy to build, went together without any problems.
Thomas: Thanks for your advice about the wooden boxes, I am going to fix this.
Ed: The rear stowage is a one piece made by Blast Models, I think it is a Sherman Set.
Bob: I know what you mean but I still have problems using pigments. So mostly I ended with a model which was overdone. Personaly I still like the old fashioned way with subtle drybrushing in a lighter colour. I know it's not that what you will find in reality.
About the antenna I'm not sure if I have to use two of them?
Thanks again to all of you for watching.
