That's some fine usage of a PE kit. I remember doing all that work and then covering it all up with a slew of figures on a diorama

Yo Davey Boy..... Looking good dude.
That's nice detail and it looks to me (no expert mind you) like you've done it pretty well. Almost a shame to paint it
Keep it up, and let us see the next installment.

Well done. Very neat detailing!!! Everytime I see a Jagdpanther I go back to my first model tah was a Tamiya 1/16 Jagdpanther back in early 70s and the will to build another one comes up very strong...
Hope to see the rest soon.

Guys, thank you for your kind words., Did some more work on this baby tonight, here are the latest batch of the in progress pictures.
The top roof is finished on this one, I need to scratch 2 periscope guard, because I like to use the Aber periscope, and the kit one got the guard with half of the periscope moulded on. I scratched one with plasticard, and another with frame of Aber PE pieces.
The Roof
The back of the compartment is also done, need to add antenna and some tools.
Close shots of scratched periscope guard and Aber Periscope, it added a lot to the model instead of using the molded on periscope.

Nice, but I still haven't the patience that Aber requires.I suppose you WILL add a drop of white glue/microcyrstal clear inside of those periscope heads once all painting/weathering is complete? Right?

"Da Hong Kong Dude"
As usual Dave, excellent workmanship. As shown on the pics, your pe skills are very clean and precise. This is a good looking work in progress build.
Only problem is, you should be doing more U.S stuff . Just kidding Dave.
Great work, thanks for the pics, and looking forward to the completed Jag.

Thank you guys for the advise and comments.
Sherman I am using the Ricoh RR30 camera, which can macro up to 1 cm, it's real amazing.
BBW2, I know I have been slackened off, it's only because Ms. Arwen is having her ya know elfish time of inconvenience, so she ain't that helpful, and them damn Fluvian Slaves ain't working too hard neither....need to whip them a bit....

I cm good God miss molly!! How many megapixel? Looking to get another camera.
By the way nice job again Pig number 2. aka Fluvian alien!!
Ps on those periscopes I tried something on the tiger took a little smoke from tamiya and mixed it with a little micro crystal clear and put it in the little window area looks kind of nice cause I painted the scope first in tank color might want to try that or use the green one clear if green is what you want.
Latter Dude
Oh a drop of micro gloss will seal it afterwards
