In case you have not noticed yet, check the ArmoramA homepage for a new feature. We now have front page coverage for campaigns. Everyone get involved and see if we can make this a standard feature!!!!!
Also, I would like to request that campaign participants please try to provide at least three photos of your completed entry as it makes editing for the front page feature a little easier. You have approval to load these photos into the campaign gallery. Please try to also use a good background for your photos, I do not mean studio quality photos need to be taken, but as clear and uncluttered as possible. Please refer to the Photography forum for some hints and tricks on doing this. It is a valuable resource to us.
I will also add that the better the photography is, you will stand a very good chance of being contacted for a complete feature article of your build. This is something we have not really done before and I personally think it is a great idea.

Hey I really like the Campaign feature idea
It gives a great finish to everyones work on the campaign rather than just fading away at the end so to speak ...................... hope it becomes a feature for all campaigns.
cheers
Brent

I REALLY, REALLY like the idea for a couple of reasons: It shows a quick synopsis of all the completed entries (an abbreviated "gallery" so to speak) and there's some motivation to complete your entry (get shown in a rather predominant way). Just need to add a larger version of the campaign ribbon beside/below the text of the campaign description.
This Sir, will work well for the campaigner's and the site!!

I also agree its an excellent idea, I hope it does get more people to complete campaigns they have signed up for, I know that somethings just cant be helped (real life stuff) but how many of us commit and then lose the motivation to see it through? based on PMY its quite a few.
Anyway, cheers to Bill for setting up the first feature. and here's to its continued success.

If I could add one thing to this:
If you realize, the first few sentances on the new feature is an excerpt from the actual campaign description. With that...I would recommend that the campaign leaders think about how they want to present the campaign to the future "enlistee's." Some have been straight forward, other have been "cryptic." In the first paragraph, lay it out...straight forward (a bit of humor is quite (in my opinion) fine). One can embellish after.
Just a thought. I honestly hope/feel that this Feature will be continued...

I think its a great feature..I think it lets everyone who wants to,
see the completed works rather quickly.

Very nice feature. It will be interesting to see how it will work in the longer term. Perhaps this can also bring more participants to the campaigns.
Thanks for the good initiative
