This is the Tamiya kit. This is the first Armor kit I've ever built. Used to building auto's. Let me know what you think.
Thanks
Michael
P.S.
I realize there are no markings. Lets just say they didn't make it and were KIA. In the future I will be removing some of the weathering and putting some markings on and reweathering as needed.

Looks pretty good for your first armour build. A couple of things I notice is the length of the antennas, the wheel hubs and the tail lights. In 1/35 scale the antennas should be 7 cm. The wheel hubs are acctually oil filled plastic caps and appears black from a distance. Tour tail lights should look something like this
Wheel hubs look like this
Good luck on further armour projects

I keep forgetting to paint the talights to be honest. As for the antenna's, I really had no idea what length to make them so I just kinda said hey this looks good. As for the hubs, thanks for the info. Something I didn't know. Looks like it'd be nicely done using some Tamiya smoke paint over some kind of base.

Darn we use to use those kind of Hub caps on over the Road trucks.
Except without that bolt thru the Middle.
Propar if I remember correct or were they bolt on type
I get it now instead of a black plug that was in them they use a bolt which would be better.
But the Black plug has a small weep hole in the front that keeps the pressure down and keeps the seal from blowing out,but I guess not needed on something that don't do 70 MPH on the Highway.
BTW that is a nice build.
Some closer pics would help also.
The weathering is what I would like to see better.

Minor point..
You need to paint the TC's periscopes - they have a red-purple laser-reflective coating. Note that the 3 O'clock and 9 O'clock positions are similar in size to the periscopes BUT are metal, not glass.

I probably will leave the Antenna's alone. However I took care of the tailights and the hubs. The hubs I used two coats of Tamiya smoke, over metallic grey. Turned out pretty good in comparison to the photo's. Probably one more coat would look better but don't want to press my luck. The periscopes believe it or not are actually painted the correct color, just have such a heavy coat of dust over them you can't see them. I may change that at some point in the future.
Would it be appropriate to paint the depressions in the smoke grenade launcher's black? Or just leave them the color they are?

I fixed those issues. I will post the updated pics later on.
The interesting part is I did this for the Paint me yellow desert fever campaign, but didn't get credit for it, because I didn't have access to internet service when the time came to post the pics. Oh well.

Ok here are the pictures.
