Nice color, nice application. Is it a bit bright or is that from the photo lamps?
The build looks wonderful.

Hey Jeff ...I know what you mean about taking till X-mas to finish ..I'm in the same boat with my LVT!! ....Good idea about the rust but the rust shouldn't cover the two cast covers...as these were not sheet metal but a big cast lump of armor . They have a rough finish though so all you need to do is paint them the same color as the rest of your kit .
Is it me or am I always critising ...sorry guys !! I don't mean to be a pain in the butt . I'll try and get some pictures of my LVT done so you guys can take it apart!
Rick

Might take your idea to mind and say what you want free world my man! This is what is needed good honest answers. So close to exhaust do you think the paint would not come off and rust pretty quick with that big Maybach engine in their?

If you take a look at pictures of these parts they a one big mass of armored steel I think it would take more than a little heat to rust those babies!!....I have never seen them painted a rusty color on a kit before either ...but you might just show stains running down over them ..that would be cool...don't forget the two lifting lugs on both sides of those parts ...(not included in any kit ...why?? I haven't got a clue!!)
