Overall looking at things, I made alot of progress this past week, with alot being this weekend alone(nothing like building a model and watching Band of Brothers on TV). The plane has it's wings now, looking alot like a Super Hornet now. I'm now assaulting the nasty seams on the underside fuselage/air intake joints. My sanding sticks are getting their exercise! I hope to be painting it this weekend. Here's the pics:
pointing out 1 of the ugly seams:

It's looking good. Now that we see some close-up pics it looks like the fit around the intakes and inside the wheel wells lack something to be desired. That's not your fault but the manufacturers. That's good info to know.
Keep a journal of your progress and submit an aricle when your done...please? :-)

Wow - Italeri is giving you a job to do. The seams look like quite a chore.
The top looks clean though.
Looks like the whole bottom needs a bit of TLC.
Keep plugging away and give us some before and after shots.

it's a chore underneath, but topside is clean. I wished I had line drawings like of the F/A 18C that's in Squadron's walk around series so I can make sure not to fill any intended seams. Oh well, back to puttying
I heard Revell-Monogram is releasing a 1/48 Super Hornet also :-)
