Good day to all
I thought I would share with you all progress on my OIF LAV-25 (MC) Piranha. I used Tamiya NATO Brown, NATO Black, and Model Master Medium Green for the color scheme. For the Stowage it’s a combination of PLUS Model, Tamiya, and Legend Products. Also I used Eduards PE and Accurate Armour Wheels. Let me know what you all think.

Very nice work and I am working on the one from Trumpter.

Any tips and can you give me an idea of what are those add-on except the storage?

Love it! Really nice job, and the stowage looks great.

Tell me, what´s your opinion about those Accurate Armour wheels? I´m looking for some for my next Piranha project and yet don´t know which ones I have to buy.

Congrats

Well I have bought both Accurate Armour wheels and Masters Productions wheels; you have to do some modifications to get the Accurate Armour wheels to fit just right. On the other hand the Masters Productions wheels fit prefect. The rear hub from the Trumpeter kit fits into the Masters Productions wheels. Plus it comes with a spear tire.

Great job buddy. You've done a heck of a good job. I love the details. I especially love the windshield you added to the driver's front. Now that is cool. I am thinking of adding that to my Stryker ATGM. I have not seen this on any Styker vehicles as yet. Do the us have any stykers with the windshield in Iraq? I know the Canadians have this addition.

I take it this is the Revell-Germany kit?

Why is is called the LAV-25 (MC)? What does "MC" stand for?

If you compare the Revell-Germany/Italeri LAV 25 kit to the Trumpeter kit you will see that RG/Italeri got the turret hatch layout wrong and there is no fluted ejection port for the 25 mm casings on the right upper side of the 25 mm gun mount.

Good use of stowage on your LAV 25.

Did you find images of a LAV 25 mounting the M249 SAW?

Thanks again for all of the feedback, also I just put the SAW on the LAV in stead of using the M60 that came with the kit. That it was to dated. I ordered the Dragon Elite Marine Kit that comes with the M240B. Once it arrives I'll place it on the LAV to make it more accurate.
