I may have mentioned that I am working on a diorama for the panzer 1 I am building.
If not, it will have a panzer 1 a refuelling at a French Garage during the Invasion of France. Since the German tanks had Gasoline engines, this was a commom occurance. Since the last shot of this dio, I have painted the part to the far left that has the fountain. The weathering on the buildings has also received some new layers and the hinges on the doors have had rust applied to them. I also have included the fuel pump that I made as well as a Garage sign. The pump is from Custom Dioramics and was a relatively simple build. Here are the photos:
Enjoy!
Andrew

Holy smokes that looks good. DId you scratch build the buildings too? Can't wait to see it with the panzer in it. How about the figures/crew? Or will it be a little french gas jockey pumping the gas for them?

Don´t think the buildings are scratchbuilt. Ive seen this building before.
The buildings and pump look excellent. One thing that might need some toning down is the brickwork in places. Most of it is weathered nicely but others could do with a bit more to blend them better. For example....... the brick work above the garage door looks the part but the brickwork to the right of the garage door looks a little bright. But maybe you are just not finished with either yet. It cant be that bad when you have to look hard for things that might need improving. I think you have made an excellent job on all the green doors. they look so grimey and realistic. Keep it coming!

Sorry for the confusion, the buildings are from Verlinden, an older product called "Ruined Street". Thanks for the comments, I am very flattered as I am an armor builder usually. The pump turned out really well as have the buildings and I am very pleased.
Thanks again,
Andrew

I'm glad that fuel pump worked out for you, Herr Oberst. I love the weathering of the building. Very well done, almost makes me want to quit doing desert dioramas and move to Europe........
