After a black pin wash and a quick try brush. I thenhand painted some Russian slogans down the side. The I got some static and hair grass mixed it up and stuck it to the KV-1

Then started weathering the bottom part of the KV with tamiya Buff paint for the time being.

next step is a little weathering on top and then the tracks.

comment welcome

I have put the tacks on now (they were realy good tracks to put together compared with Italerli single tacks), then mixed and stuck static and hairy grass to the lower hull of the tank.

all wethered with Europe dust from Mig pigemnts and put the fenders back on

Then put some figures on. (just a rough at the momment ready for a dio in the future)

Hope you enjoyed.

Looks good. Could you post some clearer photos and maybe some closeups as well.

Great job, some clearer pics would help though!

The weathering really looks the part, however, the figures look a bit 'unatural' to me, the commander has the hatch propped against his back too - cant imagine that would be too comfortable!

thanks for the comments on the tank. The figures were just for show, I have made a fair few figures, but have not decided on which ones to use.
