Hello,
I am interested in doing some Canadian Kits and I was wondering if anyone has thought about scratch building or putting out a conversion kit for the Canadian TLAV's. This is the one with the Grizzley Turret on top of the Improved M113. I am not sure how it would be done but I guess you would have to splice kits to get the extra road wheels amongst other things.
Any thoughts?

No conversion yet....
The TLAV doesn't use the extended hull with the extra road wheel added..not the ones deployed to Afghanistan now sporting slat armour.
The extended version is the MTVL.
They also have a new style rubber band track..no aftermarket for this either.
Even the 1 Metre turret has been upgraded with the multi barrel grenade dischargers from the LAV III/Coyote.
Lots of modifications to make to an M113A2 to make it an accurate TLAV.

Thanks for the reply.
I saw these all the time when I was in Gagetown. There were only a hand full then, but they were the OpFor for the last Leo C2 courses.
Is it on anyones scratch built list yet?
Could a conversion kit be developed where it gave parts to be either a TUA or TLAV?

The TLAV is on quite a few modern Canadian modellers "to do list".
A conversion for either the M113A3 TLAV or M113A2 TUA would lbe great but don't hold your breath any time soon.
