No, they weren't highwaymen or a safecracking team
Seriously, I need feedback on the above which I started on the Tamiya kit M4A375(W) [frontline breakthrough]
Anyone who has any knowledge ( Or more accurate pics than me!) of how the cheekbulge should look can they please comment freely...
Also if the pistol port is passable if possible (say three times quickly )
I copied a reasonably common design which had casting scars running through the frame and onto the turret itself. (Obviously not retrofitted...) And as it is sooo close-up, it looks fugly but will be tidied up some, but not too much to make it neat...

Cheers for the help Shermaniacs

Hey Brad,

Long time-no sherman talk!

The cheek bulge looks excellent to me mate, the pistol port is also good but I can't vouch for the casting scars as I don't have much in the way of sherman references. I'm sure you know exactly what you're doing!

Have fun with the kit, I certainly did.

I'm with James:

the cheek bulge looks great.

The pistol port looks fine, but again, I'm not familiar with that exact type of casting.

Hui Brad,

The bulge looks good to me. On the pistol port if you have a reference for that one then fine. There as different variations on different makes, I suppose it depends on where the turrer was cast. They seem quite a rough casting in some cases so no problem there.

Lead on McDuff

Cheers

Thanks for the feedback lads.
~Alan, I shall certainly lead on [i]now[/i!] Good to get the ok for certain things...
~James, Robert, the cheekbulge is the first I have ever attempted. I figure I have been building Shermans for some time now, but in all that time have only built M4A3(75)W, and it was early enough in my learning curve to not know of the missing cheekbulge in the first place...
~Pat, the pistolport was from an online image, from where I'm not certain... I figured I may as well copy the casting on a M4A3 turret for some sort of accuracy...
Cheers for helping a lad out
Brad
