Although we''ve had this figure set mentioned for a number of months, now, the Russian manfacturer, MiniArt has now released a new, five-figure, 1/35th scale figure set 35043 - SOVIET NAVAL TROOPS. For anyone working with Soviet subjects on the Eastern Front, this truly has to be one of the most useful sets released. The full story can be seen:

These look really excellent and will be a welcome addition for those who model in this genre.
MiniArt have released some of the most interesting and useful figures I've seen this year in plastic injection.

Again MiniArt has put out a Figure kit which is not only original but highly lifelike. I have all of the MiniArt kits so far, and the ones I don’t, have been on pre-order. I thing most people like the casual poses instead of the Fighting ones since most of the time you are not fighting. Keep up the great work MiniArt, and keep um coming.

Hi
diorama.ru is a great site, full of some excellent models by skilled model makers. I always pop over to see what's new.
The link I have to it brings in the English language version, so I assume they run in tandem. The review is there but without text, I guess they've not got round to translating it yet, but the pictures are there.
One for the Bookmarks.

I like the actual figures better than the box art depictions. Although they are bulky looking, the guy who paints for Minart does a great job. He weathers them nicely and gives them much character!
Even used in a small figure scene, these are appealing as they look different!
