This is my current project, the DML (IMPERIAL SERIOUS) Jagdpanzer IV L/70 Command Tank. I am building straight out of the box with just some stowage added later. I have painted the camouflage and have yet to detail paint and the decals. Any comments are welcome.
Regards,
Robert

Nice clean build, looking great so far. Waiting for your next set of pictures.
Are the tracks with the kit one piece vinyl or individual links?
Nice came scheme as well, thanks for the pics.
Cheers! Tim

Dragon Panzer IV series kits have so far included only link to link styrene tracks. The older releases like the Jagdpanzers have the "old school" type links that don't press fit together (they're not the current "Magic Tracks").

Thanks guys. I have finished the detail painting and have gloss coated the entire model, the decals were added last night. I plan on doing the filters this week. I will post more pictures this up coming weekend.
Tim, the tracks are the old style individial track links. I have had this kit in the stash for quite a while so not any of the new style of tracks DML is putting out. I have some kits with the magic track hope to get to them one day.
Regards,
Robert

Great balance on your camo. Can't wait to see it after you get the weathering.

I love this version of the Jagdpanzer and just started the 'Johan Huber' version of the same tank, keep up the photos it looks great!
I can't believe DML never went back and turned this kit into a premium edition with all the new PIV parts floating around.

Looks great so far. Be sure to post more pics when done.
I am sure when DML runs out of gas creating amazing new kits, they will revisit this one.

Most of the 'new' kits are revisiting older ones

Thanks guys, I will post more pictures Saturday night. Have completed the detail painting and just finished applying the filters and washes. I will be putting on the dull coat tonight. Then the drybrushing and Pastels/pigments get put on.

Since the last pictures I have done Filters, Washes and added Pigments to my project. I have some drybrushing still to do and somemore touchup paint still to complete. Once this is done I will add the stowage and antenna's and then blend the lower hull by misting some earth colors with the airbrush to complete the project. I usually like my builds to have a slighty cleaner look, but since I have never done filters or pigments before, I figured I try it on this kit to see how I do with it. I still need to practice with it a little to develope my own technic.
Any comments would be appreciated.

Well, I think it came out just right! I'm not to found of weathering or applying the mud look but yours has just the right amount.
Very nice work Robert.

Thanks Jeff, this is the first time I have done the heavy weathering with the pigments. But I am like you, I prefer a cleaner look. I tend to make my armor look more like Tony Greenlands does with his kits.
But everyonce in a while I like to try something new. The one technic that I was happy with that I applied with this build was the filters. I think it really gave the finish a very unque look.
Kind Regards,
Robert
