Hi There
My first post there in this forum.
Dragon's old IS-2 OOTB with Karaya Cables and brass handles on the turret. And of couse, both Tamiya and Dragon is currently issueing a new/improved version of the kit...... Well, it was a fun and a quick build.
Any comments are welcome.
Best regards
Ole from Denmark

Welcome to Armorama Ole, and thanks for posting, Very good work, both on the tank and the groundwork and setting. The tank does look a little clean however.

I think it looks very good. It is nice to see the brown uniform on the tanker instead of the black. Sometimes Ithink we forget that the tankers wore anything from Black to blue, including brown and grey.

Thanks for the comments.
I have used some pigments to simulate dust, but the pictures does not really show it and I think I will add some mud to a get a better blend with the grund work.
Thanks again
Ole

Hi guys
Thanks for positive comments.
Unfortunately I can't remember the brand of the trees, but I think they were from the US and some sort of roots, sorry that I can't get it any closer.
Happy modeling

Looks good, Ole. Welcome to Armorama. I think you will enjoy it here
I think you are right, a little mud might help blend the vehicle into the ground work a little better.
Thanks for sharing

Hi Guys
Thanks for the warm welcome and the comments.
The leaves are from the vines from the birch trees, so it is very easy to get and very cheap.
I will post pictures again when I have applied some mud to the IS-2.

Hi Ole. Welcome to Armorama .. and with a nice start. The JS II looks great, but Im also a fan of the groundwork. Love the trees ... are they from Sweetwater Scenery. M&D hobby in Sweden sell them and these look very similar! The earth colour, dried grass and fallen leaves are excellent. Nice one!!

Hi Frank
BINGO!! Sweetwater Scenery.
That was the name of the manufactures of the trees.
Thanks for helping and thanks for the feedback.

In my opinion, not even the best wire tree looks as good as sagebrush. Thank God for sagebrush. Thank God for Sweetwater!! Groundwork stands out really well, great job.
