One of the eastern European makes has a 1/35th scale BA-64 ( for the life of me I cannot remeber who). Is this get worth the time. I belive it is the only one avalible in 1/35th. Am I just asking for a headache and wasting money? I would really like to see trumpater do one as I belive this was a High production vechical in both WWII and post war.

I cannot remember either, but the kit is HORRIBLE. You are far better off scratchbuilding your own on the Tamiya GAZ kit first. Really. No, really. I built the kit and there are SO many details missing, and so many far-too-obvious mistakes that it is not worth anything other than as a first model kit to practice on or as a toy. Save your money and time!

There is only one in plastic and it's been boxed by numerous companies. IIRC the one I had was in an AER Moldova box. Anyway, it looks like this and Jacques is only too right about it

There was a resin one by Karo-As back in the late 80s/early 90s which was slightly better but nothing to scour evil-buy for either.

I believe someone also did a Vacuformed one years ago.
Jacques is right with his appraisal of the AER kit.
Reading the review, and having thrown out the AER kit, makes me wonder if it's the same kit?

Anyway, if you choose to venture forth, and are up to it, I've posted interior photos here:

Thanks for the pics. Do you hve any more on the outside. Most of my hair as grown back in from my T-35 project so I may tackle this one in a couple of months. I still am working on some other stuff to get done.

Wish I could tell you different, but the Maquette kit is the AER kit reboxed. I am serious, watch out for these kits.

Now if you take a hand at scratchbuilding one, you just HAVE to post in progress photo's.

I did briefly consider using the chassis of the Tamiya Gaz-67 to replace the kits parts, but thought better of it.
