Good day all -
Have completed the DML Sd.Kfz. 253, wanted to post some images of the finished model after the in-progress pics a while back. Any comments/criticism welcome! Thanks for looking!
Cheers!
Tim

Nice one!
I like mud, looks realistic.
But i have few critics, first silvering on decals, second, ok you have mud on fenders but what about wheels and tracks? And, maybe black wash, for shadows.
Cheers from Croatia

Thanks for the comments guys!
Goran, Cheers! Appreciate the kind words. I was a little miffed with the decals, they were too thick and I had a hard time with them. Tried to fix the silvering, but no luck. Didn't have any dry transfers that would work, as that would have been better given the flat surfaces. Agree with the mud comments as well, wanted to try something new, so next time will add to the wheels and tracks!
Kelly, thanks for looking! Lots could be seen on the inside, wanted to show it off a little bit, just tough with the camera. Cheers!

Tim,
I think your build turned out really well. The only suggestion I have is generally the inside of the hatches on armored vehicles are the same as the vehicles exterior. Other than that it really looks good!

Nice build. As already mentioned it could be improved even further by a few thinned washes of mid or light brown to simulate dust.
For the decals I would suggest a gloss varnish first and when this has dried put on the decal with a decal solvent that helps it set on the surface. After that a layer of matt varnish to make everything blend in and cover the gloss areas.
However, these are minor details. Overall a good job.
Hope this helps - thanks for sharing

Thanks again guys!
Art...I was wrestling with the color of the interior, wanted to have it lighter than the exterior to better show the details, in hindsight I should have just painted the inside of the hatches German grey and left the rest of the interior Panzer Interior Buff. Thanks again for commenting, appreciate it!
Jesper, thanks for the gouge, will have the next set of decals looking better!
Alexander - Thanks to you too! Appreciate the feedback!
Cheers all!
