I just bought a couple 1/35 fig sets from Zvezda: Russian Spetsnaz set No. 1 and Russian Special Forces Fire Support Team. The figs look pretty good. I wanted to do some reasearch on modern Russian cammo patterns and found an excellent site for this: Trident Military. There are so many cool patterns: several standard looking woodland schemes, a cool woodland scheme using patches of orange, and several very neat schemes using shades of white and blue! There are also so many types of units: regular army, naval troops, paratroops, Interior Ministry troops, and MVD. I'm thinking, what a logistical nightmare this must be for the Russian military! Can someone out there shed some light on the different units of the Russian army or direct me to some good websites?
