Using the Formations Ram II upper hull, fittings, suspension, 3 piece transmission, No.19 radio, Tamiya M4 Sherman lower hull, Academy Achilles / M12 gearbox, I am trying to make a late Ram Kangaroo.
But I need help.
I have done the old Resicast Ram Kangaroo and am using this as a guide. But I know this has dimensional issues. One of them being the location of the drivers position.
Does anyone have any internal photos or drawings of the late Ram so i don't have the same problems as the Resicast kit.
Any other advice or suggestions are also welcome.
Cheers
Kevin

See if you can get in touch with Paul Roberts from AMPS. He's the greatest guru of Canadian armor that I know of. I know he's done Ram masters. If anybody has the reference you need it'll be him, or he'll direct you where to find it.

Hey Kevin,
Here's a site that may help:
http://www.ramtank.ca/
The OOP quarterly, Wheels and Tracks # 51, 52 and 53 have some sketches and photos of the Ram I, II, Kangaroo, OP and Sexton interiors.
Service Publications has a number of booklets on the development of the Ram and it's variants.
I hope that's of some help.
Cheers

Thanks John,
I had forgotten all about the Wheels & Tracks. Luckily I have the full set so I will see if they have what I am looking for.
Cheers

Hey Kevin,
I have a Resicast Ram kangaroo in my stash.
What exactly are the dimensional issues with the kit?
Are they minor annoyances or major headaches?
Any info would be appreciated.
Cheers

Hi Jjumbo,
I will have a read up and come back to you but it is basically track / suspension / return roller height ( sounds the same as Academy M3 Lee ), turret ring size and location. I have some info I can forward on if you wish to PM me with your email address.
Cheers
