here are some pics of the F-15E from Tamiya. Its the reissue with "The Bunker Buster" heres the cockpit i have it mostly finished!!
The Figs are almost done. I'm going to add some air hose made from twisted wire or something along those lines because the kit hoses are too short for the saluting pilot figure. oh well stug

Very nicely done. especially the instrument panel. Nice touch on the saluting figure.
only one thing. In my humble opinion, I think the figuures are a bit shiny; But this realy nitpicking

Steve,
Amazing Panel works. How did you do the MFD? The color and display is very nice, as you know I have your F14 coming my way, I like to know how did you pull that off?
Great work!!!

Dave the panels are done with clear plastic and clear orage paint for the F-15 cockpit. F-14 i'm still researching!! but the trick is easy enough. plase clear plastic in the hole for the MFD paint clear orange the take a black decal film and place it under the clear peice for a shut off mfd. Tamiya provided the powered up displayes so i used them. thanks for comments stug

Great lookin' so far. The effect on the displays is awesome.
Will you be adding O2 hoses to the helmets?
This has got to be huge. I'd love to build some 1/32 jets but the price of the Tamiya jets and the new Academy Hornet are just out of my price range. Just as well, though, because I'm not sure where I would put them. Maybe I'll have to pick up a old Revell 1/32 Phantom and find somebody to give it to so I don't have to store it.

Thanks guys. After seeing what's been happening on other sites to friends here, I am realy appreciating everyones help in this endevor from my silly questions abuot the HUD to encouragement on the project... come to think of it we seem to encourage all the projects even some far out ideas that we've seen come up. This is what makes us the best modeling site and probably the best forum on the web!!!! stug
