Hi,

Right now I'm working on the Stryker M1126 and I want to share some in progress pictures.
It’s the AFV-Club Stryker M1126 which will receive the slat armor. These are the test shots of the latest conversion set of Pro Art Models. The set contains some 600 PE parts and 60 resin parts. The latter are used for the tubes of the slat armor, supports and the extra armor plates on the hull. The perforated covers for the suspension are also included in the set.
Still a long way to go, but it’s fun.

I hope you like it.

Best regards,
Hugo Luyten

Very interesting. I had heard rumors of the Pro Art set. It is ready for sale (price?) or are you testing for them. I look forward to your progress.

That's very nice, Hugo! Are those Brass PEs? I'm hoping that they have more rigidity when assembled! :-)

Hope to see the full set assembled!

Hi guys,

Sorry for the late reply, but thank you for your comments.

Bill: The set isn't available yet. This is indeed the testshot Im working on.

Sebastien: Yes, I also love those rumours . I received your email.

Hi Lawrence, yes it looks very thin, but once assemled it is surprisingly rigid. I was planning to solder the construction, but after screwing up a small panel (due to the high temperature that makes the brass less rigid) I decided to use ultrathin superglue. For me this is the best way, as it gives you the possibility to make some adjustments to the position of each slat before it dries. After that you have a very rigid construction which is easy to handle.

Hi Charles, this set will be somewhere between 90 and 100€. The set will also include resin canvas cover on top of the drivers hatch, canvas bag below the gun, resin cover with PE grids for the exhaust and a resin tow bar.

Yufkey, thanks for your comment.

I will post some more in progress pictures next week.

Best regards and have a nice weekend,
Hugo
