Using Tamiyas new 1/48 jeep, Hauler etch, Aero Club guns, Grifon Guns, Tamiya Jerry cans, and a whack of scratch to convert the regular jeep into a Desert SAS Jeep. It will be an early one in a three tone camo scheme. Man I need to buy a Photo-etch bending tool if I work on this little stuff much more.
The jeep goes together well but there are a few sinkholes that need looking after. Detail is basic so the Hauler set is kind of neccessary to give it some depth.
There is still lots to do. Condensor, and some other bits, and of course the stowage. Got to find another wheel for the back end as well.
Comments welcome and appreciated.

Whoa Sean
This is gonna be a little bewdy!
The adventures of the Phantom Major and his crew are amazing, and you look well on the way to achieving one of their workhorses... Even removing the radiator bars
Good stuff
Keep the photos coming!

Well I've learned that a second spare tire will not be neccessary for the early Jeep i'm building. The first raid jeeps only had the one fitted so I'm good on that front. Thanks to all who emailed me on the subject.
