Wow! That is one sweet honey! You did a magnificent job on her.
I now have added it to my must haves. (can't believe I don't have it yet )
Beautiful job. The weathering is tops! Keep up the great work. I hope to see more of your builds.

Great job!! I really like how it turned out. I just picked up this kit last weekend. It'll be awhile before I get to it though. So, is this OOTB or did you modify/add anything to it? Also, did you use the vinyl tracks or the individual? Any problems with the kit that I can expect to encounter when I tackle it?
Someone other than you posted a honey on Missing Lynx today. Oberst must have thought it was the same one.
Again, wonderful job!!!

Looking good!!! I've always liked the color scheme of the Honey. BTW - How does that kit build up? It's another one I've debated picking up at some point.

did a great job with this kit...is this the one that was painted purple a while ago? Neither here nor there you did great. I was working on mine until I started my ship build campaign, and then I have my sheridan after that before I get back, But I to am curious did you us the vinyl or link to link tracks? I've been debating which to use on mine

Thanks for all the kind posts!
Steve for weathering, I painted in Acrylics (always do so the wife won't kill me and I won't kill myself!) Tamiya and Polly Scale, I then did a coat of Future waited a couple of days then decaled.. then light over spray of Polly Scale sand, and more overspray of Polly Scally Scale Khaki on the bottom. Then another coat of Future.. waited five days.. then did wash with Grumbacher Turpentine and Artists Oils (Black mixed with Burnt Umber).. Then drybrushed the raised surfaces with Polly Scale Ghost Grey... lastly added some Pastel Stains and coffered with Krylon Matte Finish (big can from Walmart! A lot cheaper than the tiny can of Dullcote from Hobbytown)..
John and Blaster... the kit is OOB and I did the individual links (they really went together easily).. Blaster I didn't change the color from Purple, I think it was just the lighting that made the picture look purple!
Jeff this kit builds up nice and easy, a lot of fun... great bang for the buck.. I highly recommend it!!! I'm not a rivet counter though, so if you want perfection, I believe reading posts on the web, you do have to make some changes to do an accurate Honey.. But I'm just happy doing a kit OOB every now and then for a quick fix to this modeling addiction!

Yup...looks good...well done, and a good target (modelling quality wise for me to aim for)..
The only thing is, I can hardly imagine a soldier feeling comfortable sitting in a tank like that (such a relative high profile it seems, and the paint-scheme... damn it seems to look tiny compared to a Tiger)...

Way to go!! really pulled off a nice looking kit...I was worried there for a while with the first pictures you put up where the lighting made it look purple ...excellent weathering job...The only thing that academy did wrong was the color under the serial number but you can't do anything about this if you use their decals...that green is supposed to be olive drab...the brits just taped over the serial numbers when the painted the honeys...they also got the color wrong on the bottom transmission cover in front ...there should be the white and red ID colors instead of grey and sand as they say in the instructions... But this takes nothing away from the super job you did on your kit ...You did an excellent job on those decals too!!
Congrats!!

Very, Very nice job!
These were pretty small vehicles....about the same size as a Pz II or a Hetzer.....or about 2/3 of a Tiger
