Hello friends,

Here is one of my project in progress, still lot of work to be done, but time is on my side.
Tiger is Italeri 1:35, vignette base is home made.

Tiger in progress:

Winter whitewash was made using hair spray method. Very good and easy way to do winter chamo.

Tiger and base:

Watch out for the red fire extinguisher... It would have been painted over probably if it is attached on the outside of the tank, otherwise a bright red spot would be a dead give-away for a camouflaged vehicle. Could be better if there was at least some winterwash on it.

Gday Goran
I like your diorama although I'm not too up to date on what a Tiger should look like...
The mudded track looks the part, although I'm not sure you'd see even muddied snow in the track imprints behind the tank? Your snow does look good though, and I like the slight incline as a backdrop
Good stuff

Looks good, the base is very well done, although I agree that there should be no snow in the tank track imprints.

On the side of the turret I think you are missing the two holding points next to the gun

Yes, i know, i will fix this problem. The picture was taken in the moment when i start to make snow so that's the way how it goes in tracks.

Goran -

Nice sequence of photos, nice looking Tiger and base as well! You've done a good job with the white wash, especially like the way it's set into the mud. Add a Commander / Loader and you're in there! Thanks for sharing!

Cheers!

Goran -

Outstanding job, especially the mud and snow effects. Weathering and Tiger details also excellent. Tend to agree with snow in tracks, unless it is snowing which could fill in behind the Tiger (though there would be snow on vehicle then). Also for the sPzAbt 506th, the turret number would match the color of the Unit's "W" on rear stowage bin, in this case red IIRC. Hoping you're adding tank crew figures? This would top it off nicely. This 'Vignette' is very well done and belongs in the "White Washed Campaign" running here on Armorama.

I'm doing a Tamiya Tiger I (Mid) of 506th for "White Washed" and hope mine comes out half as good.

Goran,
Is that real mud? It looks kind of glutinous, I don't know how you did it. Also the Zimmerit looks good, was this one of the Italaeri kits that had it moulded on? It lloks the same colour as the hull in the first picture.

Yes, that is real mud. I made it from earth+wood glue+earth pigment. Zimmerit is from Italeri, im not so satisfied with that, it was pretty heavy job on the turret, zimmerit was too short, so i have to made it using Miliput.
Now, when the mud is dry, i have to do drybrush on it. I think it will be better. And i clean the snow from behind the tank, more pictures will come soon. And i start to do figures for Tiger.

Once again i must say sorry, my english is not so good, i'm still learning, hope you all understand.

I like it, Goran. I like it a lot.

The only thing you need to add is a commander figure in the turret.
