Went to the local modelshop today to look for some figures (Christmas is a good time to build and paint small things like figures - in between roasting turkey, hosting drinks, eating mince pies etc) but instead bought the Trumpeter KV2 for £12... what an amazing kit - almost finished already - and primed... decided to build it oob whilst I'm waiting for a pair of Dragon T34s from Lucky models...
Has anyone else got this kit? What did you think of it? And has anyone popped out for a tin of paint/tube of glue/box of figures and come back with something unplanned and built it there and then?
Very liberating!
Happy holidays

i built a trumpeter kv2 w/ the extra armor turret and it was a lot of fun as well. the only issues i had was with one of the drive sprokets. it did not gon on easily, other than than it was a great model to build. i am thinking about getting a different variation from trumpeter to build.

I bought both the Soviet and captured German versions of the KV2 as well as the captured KV1. I love them...good quality for a great price.
I TELL my wife I'm going for paint.....and come back with a bit more......When she looks at the credit card statement she can't believe that paint can cost that much!!!!
I think we've all done that. That's part of being a modelholic!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
