This is the companion piece for the M32 B3 that I posted last week. When I decided to build Tamiya's M4 Sherman, I wanted to build it with a complete interior but was unsure of how to display it with good visibility. Hence the M32 lifting the turret off came to be. The M4 turned into a regular journey into the world of AM parts.
Here is a listing of the extras that were added to the original kit:
- Verlinden's M1 Dozer conversion
- Chesapeake Model Design's M4 Turret
- Tank Workshop Interior
- Royal Models PE detail set
- Jordi Rubio 75mm gun barrel
- Fruilmodelismo tracks
- Collectors Brass tools
- Grandt Line bolts
- assorted solder for cables and hydraulic hoses
I appologize for a couple of the pics, I was trying to get as tight a close ups as I could but did not quite succeed.
All comments and critiques greatly appreciated.

Let me be the first to comment on this excellent interior.
I am not an expert on Sherman interiors but I can comment on the clean build.
I would like to see some more tonal variations and other weathering effects in the Sherman interior though, it looks too clean
I like how you detailed the turret ring, how did you do this?
Nice work,
Andrew

most impressive interior. well woorth the costs I am sure. Not being all that familiar with Sherman kits, Is the dozer blade version a full fledged kit or an aftermarket conversion?

cool looking sherman there......... and a good use of AM parts LOL
Just a couple of questions
are you going to put any tracks on the M32?
and what color did you paint the tracks of the sherman?
inquiring minds wish to know.... :-)

Thanks for the kind replies all. It's been quite the journey to get these 2 to this point and still have a ways to go.
Andrew - both of these kits will still be recieving a most ample treatment of pastels to complete the weathering. Once again my close-up photography is a little suspect , the interior ofthe M4 is much dirtier than it appears in the pics. To get the egde on the turret ring, I sat down with a sharp edged needle file and drove myself crazy for an evening. #:-)
Blaster - the Dozer blade is an AM conversion kit that includeds the blade and all the related atttachments. The one I used is from Verlinden but I believe there's also one on the market from Resicast. The Verlinden kit is quite nice to work with, the resin was produced very clean with no air bubbles or warping. It is a little fidgety to work with though.
Delbert - The M32 is going to get the rubber chevron tracks that came with Dragon's M4A1. They are just about completed and I'll be putting them on after I've done some of the detail painting. The M4 tracks are from Fruil and are painted with a base coat of Model Master acrylic gun metal. They have only recieved the first coat so far... I just placed them on for photo purposes.
Thanks again...I'll keep you all posted as these 2 progress.

Excellent job, robert.
A friend has that Verlinden dozer kit and I've been trying to either (a) buy it from him or (b) borrow it frm him so I can scratch my own. You've inspired me to put a bit more pressure on him.
BTW, I'm also working on an M32. I'm using the Tamiya M4 as the basis, with the drivers position swiped from an Academy Achilles, much-modified Italeri hull interior parts (actually very little of the original left after accurizing), a scratch-built winch, and a bunch of other goodies.

:-) This is very very good, having the turret lifted off is an excellant idea to show off the interior.
Nice one, more please :-)

Thanks again all
Bob, you forgot the third option..grab it and run. No, no, no can't do that to a close friend..... however if he's not close. I like the sound of your M32...keep us all posted on the progress with it.
I'll keep you all posted as to the progress with these two.

Excellent concept and building. hopefully you will be showing these on a nice base with some engineers on hand.
This is the one instant that i believe in good interiors for models. Great work. Looking forward to the next updates!

Just an opinion, but I thik there should be some metal wear around the hull turret ring, I am thinking the race for the turret just sat on this, but I am not sure. If it did, then there wouldn't be any paint there.
No criticism, just my thoughts. As you know, I am really liking this effort.
