Hi,

This is a really good idea to display the lit and make the most of the figures. Good luck with the build.

Very interesting scene, mate, for sure...looks great thus far, looking forward to seeing more! What method are you going to use for your water simulation?

Great looking diorama. Very cool way to display the human torpedo in mid air.

The Maiale were not suicide torpedos. They were supposed to dive under ships at anker and detach the warhead, set a timer, and then sail back out of the harbour. But you probably know this already.
I think they were used at least once against the British with some success, but I might remember wrong.

Anyway, great result so far. Looking forward to see more

I lost track of this project for a while. I'm glad I found it again. Very nice updates. One thing to watch for is uniform weathering. I know you're a loong way from complete and will have this done when you wrap up.

One critique is the rung on the chain ladder down to the canal. It doesn't look quite right broken. I see that there is other damage on the pier and it probably happened then. But with current activity in and out of the water I would have suspected that they at least put in a 'field modification' to repair it and make it easier to go up and down.
