Hi all,
It's been a while since I've posted any of my work. Heres some WIP photos of my latest project. Its a K-53 Signal Corps Van. Its a Tamiya GMC kit with Eduard Etch, Real Model K-53 Conversion, Azimut M14 Directors Trailer, and plenty of scratch built details. New Fuel tank and rack were built, along with a yet to be finished rear "step" on the K-53 Body complete with ladder. Many small details were added to the chassis of the GMC. The M14 Trailer was OOB and was an alright build. Detailed with brass wire for handles and chain for the tow chains complete with "S" hooks on the end.
Heres the pictures. Comments/ Suggestions welcome.. Also any research anyone has on these kits is welcome as information is scarce to say the least.
I hold the copyright to all photos.
Regards
Matt

Matt,
The build looks awesome! A very interesting subject indeed. The wheels with the chains are really cool. And the trailer.... That is the first time I have ever seen one of those. It is awesome. Can't wait to see the final product!
