Plain? I just finished the Tamiya M3 Bradley, the Revell LAV Pirhana, the DML BTR 70 and the Tamiya T62 (which surprisingly to me, looks like a solid kit despite what others have said) and they look somewhat plain. What do you guys suggest (other than PE sets) for these kits that would *liven* them up a little bit.

How about External stowage,like those soda and water boxes,also cigarette cartons,MRE'S,Tarps,bedrolls,and such.Small maps and magazines also look good.Crew Figures, if you can handle them,I cant

I do not consider myself to be an advanced modeller. Most of my kits are out-of-the-box; but, I do like to spruce them up a bit. Typically, I use stowage kits and figures.
I really think a crew member sitting in a hatch adds a lot to a model. Adding crew also helps show the scale of the model.

I'm not sure where you are with weathering, but I know from experience that is when my projects start to come alive. From there, a little wear and tare during the constrution phase and I agree figures do help too.
