I've been looking for Maquette's V-2 engine and can't seem to find one. Does anyone know which website has them?
Thanks

They have it listed as "Not Available" now. But I bought it form them and it sells for $5.95. They'll have it in stock again soon.
Hope this helps

As stated in my review on this site, if you can get ahold of the Maquette engine for the $3-4 that I did, they are quite good to "fill space" in a T-34 or such, so long as you are not depending on it to be a fully detailed engine. It is a sparse kit and needs work to make it look really good.
The engines in the kits Gary mentioned, the 3 Trumpeter kits, are all T-55 era engine parts and several of them would not be correct in a WWII era tank. Looking over photos of a T-55 engine and a T-34 engine will show you what I mean.
But Gary's point is also well taken. For the price of about $15 you can not only get a well detailed T-55/62/72/90 engine (it would need some mods for anything past a T-55/62, but the basics are their), but you can also get a nicely done chinese tank. WELL worth the money.
Hope that gives it some better perspective.

Thanks all for the info, but my question hasn't been answered. I'm still looking for this kit, but nobody seems to have it in stock now. I know it's a sparse kit; that's okay, I'm kind of jaded spending money on expensive aftermarket parts, I just want to get on with completing this project I've got going.
If anybody knows a shop, it would be much appreciated.

Hi Brett,
the "LHS around the corner" (unfortunatly no internet or postal retailer) still has one in stock. If you can't find one anywhere else, I can buy it and send it to you...
(But there should be a better solution (a shop much nearer!?), than sending this item once around the world ;-))
Contact me offline, if still in need.
