This is my first finished model of the year and my first post over here at Armorama. It's the DML Panther ausf. G late production built out of the box. Painted with Humbrol enamels and weathered with oils and pigments. I think I will put it on some kind of base and add a figure.
All comments are welcome!

Hej Erik,
Love it man! The paintjob is absolute sweetness! Never seen anything like this before, the color deviations on the green and dark yellow are outstanding. The dark wash did it's job and really brings out the depth of the model. The only thing I noticed is that some parts are a little bit too shiny. However that is only my own opinion. Anyone shoudl do that according to their own preferrence.
Nice weathering of the suspension, tracks and wheels!
This Panther looks great nice job overall!

Heli

Hi Henrik,
Great panther - nice clean biuld and a great paint-job. I can fully understand your idea of adding a figure to your tank. It really ads scale to the subject with personnel around it - but, please ad a nice quality figure from Alpine or the like - your Panther deserves it :-)
Greetings from Denmark
Morten

Henrik, first off welcome to Armorama, I'm sure you will enjoy it here. Fine bunch of people
Well done on your Panther, camo and coloring are beautiful. What method did you use to get the hard edge?
Really like the rust streaks, I'm a big fan of rust
Can you post some more pics, especially of the wheels and rear? The mud on the wheels looks great, would enjoy seeing some low side shots. Also, your photo booth and lighting work well, very natural colors. Great job!
And a base and figure would be perfect, good luck

James Bella: I painted the camo with a brush. I did several layers of thin paint, first one almost as thin as a wash just to sketch the outlines. Very important to let the layer dry befor you paint the next one! After that i highlighted the camouflage with the same yellow with some white in it to give it more life! I have seen people using masking tape and things like that to create a hard edge camo, but I really enjoyed doing it just by hand!

Looks great, a very nice build, some excellent weathering and painting skills on display here.
However, it does look a little shiny, is this the gloss coat before you add transfers? Could do with a matt coat methinks.
Great work though, look forward to seeing more.

It looks great, I love the paint scheme. I agree with the others, it could use a dull coat, and maybe some weathering to the spare tracks and tools, to break up the monotone of the black. It gives the great looking model a toylike effect.
