Well, here it is ! Finished with the T26. This is also my first "diorama" or base... whatever it would technicly be called #:-) #:-)
The pics of the figure could be better.. If I can I'll try to get a clearer pic. Any suggestions would be welcome :-)

The figure looks a little washed out..flash effect or you lights were a little too bright. The tank weathering certainly looks realistic not overdone a bit. Real fine showpieces for a well made kit

Not to spread idle gossip or state secrets... But.... The Mrs likes the "big guns" of soviet armor. She picked out this little honey for me to create, and I fear that she was a little disapointed by the size of the gun #:-) #:-) (on the tank)
So I assume that I'll be doing another piece of soviet armor, one with a bigger gun #:-) maybe a soviet tank distroyer.... Any suggestions?
I enjoyed doing this little kit a lot, and highly recomend it for anyone. I may do another for the barbarossa build. I think I've been bit by the russian armor bug #:-) #:-)

Very good - I have to use my special 'flash filter' to view the pictures. My 'flash filter' is my experience looking at all my flashed pictures next to the real thing going 'oh man, flash's can twist an image.'
This is very nice. I like it a lot. The composition is good. The tank is excallent, the figure is cool (unique), the layout is good. The materials you used are well picked. Good job. I give it an "A".
On a personal decision, I would have put the figure on the outside of the drive wheel and maybe 1/2 inch forward of the tank. I think it would show her off more.

El Diablo Von Selster (something something)
I've been waiting for the completion of this one and it was worth it. You have a talent and it shows again in this vehicle. The painting on this tank is superb. Your dry brush/high light skills are second to none.
I was struck by the pose/position of the Russion female fig----it reminded me of Mrs. El Diablo standing in front of that M60 in Indiana (I believe you were inspired!! :-) :-) ).
Keep it up---very well done.
ps: Have you picked up new wrestling tites yet?---I didn't see you on Smackdown last night (lol).

Wow...the weathering on that tank is outstanding. You have a very nice touch, Selrach. And that oil drum...very nice. The bullet holes were a clever addition. I'd love to see some more pics of this dio, especially the interior of the turret (looks like you did some detail work there, but can't be seen in the pics) and how you handled the spotlight on the front of the tank.
This is the way I like to present my armor projects, and I think you did a fantastic job. I'd be very proud of it.

Herr Von Selrach
Great job on theT-26, especially the weathering job. How about a KV-1, those billboard sized slab sides just beg for a Russian slogan in white wash. I think the Missus would approve of the tree trunk sized artillery they sported.
Carry on carrying on, see you in the funny papers

Everything looks great. The "flash filter" comment above applies. I had trouble with the flash washing out my pictures until someone suggested taking the pictures outside on a nice sunny day. That really helped. You may try that.

Very nice work. The feamle soldier andds a really good peointof interest.
About the bullet holes in the drum...they look to be pretty heavy caliber going in. I recently saw a special on the Lost Squadron and the P-38 they raised. They fired off a round from the .20mm into a 55 gallon drum. The entry hole was about the size of the ones on your barrel. The exit hole opened the barrel from top to bottom! But., hey, that's a minor quiblle. I think you've done a masterful job here. :-)

Better yet. IMHO, if possible, step back and use the zoom feature. If you can, try bouncing the flash, though most all in one cameras don't allow for that. If you're using a digital with white balance, set up a two-three lamps on adjustable arms. MOve them around to eliminate shadow. If you are a bit under exposed, you can brighten the image in your photoediting software.
