Looks like they included the interior spall armor. This thing may be worth buying after all.

Great news, agree I see the spall armor on one of those sprues. Looks like they actually updated the kit, at least at some extent....oh well, more buckets on the shelf
Cheers

It also looks like they made a new rear ramp that reflects the changes in the A3 model. The side racks, however, look to be too tall. Overall, it seem to be an improvement over an already good kit.
By the way, did anyone notice how the model in the photos has the ALICE packs upside-down?

I believe those side racks are about twice as tall as they should be. I think they were just tall enough and wide enough to hol a MRE or water box.

[quote]In the usall Academy halfazzed fashion, they did some good things and messed up some others. Yes the spall liners are there, but not the A3 style drivers yoke and shifter. They give you the A3 style rear door, but miss the numurous armor mounting holes all over the hull. They give you the A3 cargo hatch, but would have you mount the headlights like a A1/A2 the A3 are mounted on add-on plates.[/quote
Gary,
Are you suggesting to bypass this kit??

Im with gary on this one Andreas, If your gonna go throught the trouble of updating the interior with the spall liners, then add the correct steering yoke and maybe even the correct radio set-up. Don't get me wrong, Academy, in my opinion, has the best M113 out on the market, but just do it right the first time.
