she's almost done!! :-) I'm waiting on the GBU-12's to dry as I type this and I painted it's display base today (Just Plane Stuff's resin Modern Carrier deck) Brighter photos tomorrow!

question, the outter pylons are bare now, what bombs will be loaded there?

animal: I went with a light weathering job. Just a pastel wash and some afterburner residue since the Super Hornets of VFA-14 are relatively new

Iron-Fist: love the movie! My afternoon routine after homework was GI Joe and Transformers :-)

SS-74: GBU-12's will occupy the pylons next to the GBU-16's. AIM-9 Sidewinders will take up position on the wingtips. Both of those I'm finishing up tonight.

here's a couple of better pics:



the tailfins consist of 7 decals total. The red border is a very delicate 1-piece one, the white disc is seperate from the Top Hat. The tail code is 1 decal while the S and the 00 are they're own decals. Here's the link to more pics of the model, plus a shot of my 1/48 scale Hasegawa F-16CJ, enjoy

Nice one there! The decals look exacly like paint job. Pretty good. Why not put it in a nice diorama to make it a lot better :-)
