Anyone seen this before? I got it from a Dragon 1:35 scale figures kit, its seems it very similar to the Sturmgewehr, but this one is named "Volksgewehr" made in 53,000 numbers in the year of 1945, 30 rounds magazine, probably a quick idea of a infantry weapon for mostly "Volksturm" as a last strong defence

This as you said is a last ditch weapon for the NSDAP Volksturm militia and local defense organization. It's the Volkssturmgewehr 1-5 firing 7.92 x 33mm Kurz cartridge. The figure of 53,033 units produced is highly questionable, which may inclded other types and models of Volkswehre. It used non-critical materials for production, such as low-grade steel tubing, rivets, and pressings wherever possible. 30 round MP43 magazines were used.

It was designed by Barnetzke, working at the Gustloff-Werke firm, during 1943 and 1944 and went into production in late 1944, being first issued in January 1945. It operated by blowback operation and was single shot with a range of abou270 meters ...and a photo for details.
