Legends sand bagged hull was added tothe Italeri 76mm sherman
I also textured the turret and tranny housing with wood putty
the turret sandbaggs and cage were scratched
The base is a Verlinden piece with a few things thrown in mounted to a wood base
and the figure is Dragon

Nice Job ! A very cool Sherman. I like the sandbagging and the building details, where did you find the bathroom fixtures, sink & toilet etc ?

Alright -- a potty, a piano and a motorcycle all in the same room!
Nice work. Love the details. The only thing that really bothers me is that BIG box hanging off the back with no visible means of support.

eeeeech. I hate it when the only instructions are the box art. Verlinden and Legends are among the many who are guilty of this.
Wayne, there is no way that big box, with or without all that stuff, could be bolted on from the inside. That rear plate was armor plate. You don't just drive a couple screws in, or drill and tap a few bolts -- it needs a welded bracket of some sort. Remember that added stowage involved a field modification -- that means no fancy carbide or diamond bit drilling, just no-nonsense oxy-acetylene welding, which could be done in a field shop.
Maybe you don't need to fix this one, but you might want to keep it in mind for the next one. Angle iron seems to have very common in the field in those days and field shops built LOTS of brackets with it. Check actual WWII photos for your best references.

A very inspiring Sherman. Ive got the Dragon Battle of the Bulge Sherman in the box. It might need to see the light of day after seeing this one.

Can you go back and add a pair of periscopes for the driver and machine gunner? Or are you relying on them BOTH opening up when on the move? If so, we can only hope they are operating in a very safe area of operation, not evident according to the hastily left behind ams and ammunition..
Just a small point you understand..Very nice effort though.

Nicely done. Small points as already noted but I really like it. Setting is bang on with all the extras.
