Please all tell me what you do you think? It is at below location. My father did all the scenery and I did the models. Please leave comments.

Good luck.

Nice work HastyP

I agree with Whiterook it just needs the finishing touchs to make it look like a battle ground so everyone looks like they have been figthing for days or weeks.

:-) HastyP,
I don't do dioramas (yet) so I don't feel I have any authority to pass judjment. However for a first diorama it's got to be good. I must agree with whiterook, though, in that things need to be dirtied up a bit and there would be a mass of rubble. The foliage is good and the concept is good. All pointers for your next one, which we are all looking forward to seeing :-)

Thats really very good ,I think just a little extra weathering need to make it more realistic. When I see your diorama,I remembered a diorama I've seen long ago in a verlinden book,it was a church dio and name was something like that:wolf in sheep clothing

I think this is a terrific effort for your first time HastyP. A dio with this much convincing foilage is not easy to do. I have to agree with the other guys as well, about extra wethering and rubble, but these will come to you. Perhaps it would be an idea to do a small dio or vignette, where more of the close up detail is needed. Here you will have to concentrate more of your time on the finer detail. But a lot of effort and skills were needed here and the dio looks good and is well thought out. I like the guy sneaking up the river. Looking forward to seeing more!

Wow - For a first diorama you sure did pick a very big subject. You have a lot going on in this diorama. I like the creativity and concept a great deal.
This is a really good start to a promising series of dioramas. Take away form these comments the good points and don't get down on yourself at all. We all have things we can get better on so don't be hard on yourself.
A few things I'd like to toss out. When putting together a diorama you need to ask yourself
"Would these guys be in this position? Would thier training and tachtics allow them to be here?"
"Would this combination of equipment be allowed to get to this spot?"
"Would this plant/rock/person/building/?? be next to or look right here?"

Not to say that the answer to these questions is NO by any means. These are just questions to ask yourself as you plan.and build.

Specifically with this diorama in my opinion the rocks lining the road don't quite fit. I don't know for certain, so I could be wrong, but I would expect to see a either smaller rocks or a birm of dirt lining the road. Also would there be trees in conjunction with the grape fields?

Keep up the good work. Keep us posted on your next project.

Good work HastyP. As whiterook said, you'll probably need to dirty it a bit. Looks too clean. But don't do it too much, since you'll end up up with a very busy one.

Thanks for all the constructive comments.

I am planning on adding more weathering. I told my father to add more rubble and debris to his scenery. More dirt to the wood as well.
