Hi all,
This is the Italeri M60A1 "Blazer" built mostly OOTB. Exceptions are the figure (Academy), turret stowage (mostly homemade bedrolls/nets and air ID panel from wine bottle foil, jerry cans from Academy), antennae (guitar string), signs on the side (kit decals on lead foil from bottle). Painted with MM Israeli Armor sand or whatever they call it, panel faded with a lightened version of the same color, oil wash, then misted with sand colored acrylics. Also, I made the racks that the MG ammo for the two .30s fit into out of sheet plastic. I also had to scratch the mount for the commander's MG, since the kit one is WAY wrong. Tow cables are actually sherman "ends" with string for the cable.
Hopefully these pics will work. I'm trying a new hosting service. Comments welcome.....I don't build much modern stuff, so I'm sure there's some stuff wrong, but, in the end, to me it looks like an Israeli M60A1 from the invasion of Lebanon, which was what I set out to do.

Nicely done.
It's always good to see some new IDF models.

Looks good. Very realistic worn and "lived in" look of the tank. I also like the base - it is simple and frames the tank very well by placing it in a realistic setting.

Thanks for the comments. I'm looking forward to doing more Israeli armor since this one came out as well as I'd hoped. I've got a couple of Ford Mutts, an M163, and an M51 Sherman still to do.
This M60 will make an appearance at the Fairfax, VA, IPMS show this coming weekend. Wish me luck!

Very nice, indeed.
Take another look at the #12 flags. The one on the driver's left, the corner at the base of the "2" looks like it should be folded over at that angle. The other one look,s like it is bending into the turret at the bottom rather than hanging straight down. Now, if they're depicted as being tied at the bottom, disregard these comments.

Yes, they are tied at the bottom. Hard to notice in the pics.
