This is a Leopard 2A6. Personally I think it is a cool looking tank and it was alot of fun to build. I didn't go too overboard with the weathering of this tank. It was done completely OOB and on the whole I put it all together very quickly.
I must say I am pretty intimidated posting in these forums - everyone seems so 'pro' and I feel terribly outclassed!
Anyway, here are the build photos.
Starting with the wheels: Always fun. Not.
And now just about finished - Factory fresh though
Final shots after weathering:
And a few shots of it next to a WW2 Tiger 1. I think the Tiger still looks scarier

No need to feel intimidated by anyone on this forum. True, there are a few people who take themselves WAY too seriously, but you seem to have grasped what this hobby is for most people - a lot of fun. That's a heck of a nice build, and very nice tight cammo for freehand airbrushing.

At first sorry for my bad English but I'm still learning
The Model is really nice build, it seems to be the Tamiya kit?
As old Tanker (while my army service I was on the Leopard 2 A5), I can only see some little misstakes. The exhausts from the Leo should be black, I mean absolutely black. ;-) Also the covers of the smoke launchers should be black exactly as the fuel hose on the top deck (motor deck). I think the tow ropes are missing, normally they are always on the tank. And one last thing: the camera at the tail of the Leo needs a small antenna, this would be a very good detail ;-)
But all together I think it's a very good model kit and very good build.
Best regards from Germany
Tobias
