I've always liked the look of the Firefly, something about that 17lb gun

Great job Neil, the weathering is ice and i like your chip-paint effect. I am also building the DML firefly with the Formations update & model Kasten tracks (a chore to build by the way) I also havw the Tasca firefly on the shef that looks like a great kit. What paint did you use for the British green? :-

thank's for your interest guys
i think i will go for the tasca firefly kit as my next build. ive got to try and break my habit of building tiger 1's .......
the paint was mixed from equal parts of vallejo model air '010interior green' '020 german green'(i think)
i'm no expert on british wwII armour but i think the colour looks alright.

pleaz leave on the netting i think it is very good looking and think you have a lot of talent for building models. Is the netting just gauze dipped in white glue and paiinted or something spacial?

Nice Job but one thing that stood out to me-the tracks are on backwards. I have a photo of a Marine Corps Sherman with one set on backwards and I've not studied the occurances in depth.

wow!!!!!!
cheer's for the feedback..........
mike i honestly didn't know that the tracks are on backwards as i remember they were a nightmare to put together but like i said i made this kit quite a long time ago.
my mother in law was visiting so to keep out of the way i decided to take some pictures of my older models and play about editing them.

I hear you about those DML tracks. Fly looks real good, are you going to put the spade grips on the 50 cal?
Nice job overall.
