Hi all.
I've started building my first Sherman model ever. It's excellent 1/35 Tasca kit No. 35-009..
In my build I will help myself following book:
I begin from making lower hull.
Oh, and I know nothing about Shermans, so I count on your help.

Hi Tomek,
I believe the Tasca kit is the bast Vc out yet. The only issue I read about it was that the Ride Height Spacers need replaced.
Formations do a set to correct the problem. FO86
Enjoy the build it is said to be an excellent kit indeed.

They don't need to be replaced, Tasca give a section of soft rubber that needs to be cut to shape and makes the suspension workable but some modellers do replace the soft rubber either with the Formations set Alan mentioned or with plastic card cut to fit.
It is a great kit and if this is your first Sherman you;'re spoiling yourself

Thank you for your interest Alan and Pat.
And my work moves slowly forward:
Most of part is only temporarily dry fitted.

Very nice start my friend. IMHO one of the coolest looking Shermans and probably one of the best Sherman kits available...
Good luck and keep us posted!

I agree with you entirely Martin and thanks for your comments.
Very minor progress on my model:
And now I have a little problem because I don't know what means question mark (?) on following picture:
And I must buy tow cable but I'm not sure how thick it should be. Can somebody help me?
Earlier I forgot to mention, that I build tank from this photo:

Tomek, If I may suggest.... get the Voyager PEA 107 set. I think I paid @ $6 for it, it includes a tow cable, tools and a lot of other things (Light guards, etc...)

Nice work Tomek, slow but sure.
Both SKP and Accurate Armour do tow cables, normal picture wire is about the correct thickness. There is a review of the SKP set on site.
