Stunning work, it's just like looking at the real thing. Can you describe the method you used for painting and weathering the seats, please?

Thanks

Thank you Andy; the seats are pieces of foam that were got dressed with pieces of real leather then they were washed with bleach so that they fade and they were finally covered with pigments

I would never have thought of using real leather for the seats, it certainly does make a great difference. Well done.

It's really looking cool, I especially like the motor.
The backlight should have 2 red lights in the lower part and 4 green lights in the upper. You painted the upper lights red, but that's easy to correct.

I remember rebuilding an engine for one of these in the mid 80s and looking at the photos brought back memories. There are only a couple of suggestions. Where is the throttle cable? It was directly linked to the gas pedal with a cable passing through a tube located in the fan shroud behind the carb. It required an 8mm wrench to loosen the linkage.
Where are the large spring clips for the valve cover gaskets? The valves were set at 16mm (approx thickness of matchbook cover.) The slots for the springs can be seen in the heads, some magic with sprue and a candle could work.
The generator is not wired and I don't see the coil.
I don't see the notch in the pulley to set top dead center.
The picture of the front (it is a Volkswagen) of the engine lacks the flywheel, pistons, crankshaft...
The photos of the engine are better than any repair book. It looks as if you added oil to the engine and oil bath air cleaner, primed the carb it would turn over. An outstanding job in both the modeling and photography. You set standards which are hard to beat.

Dear friends thank you very much
I am sorry because I don't reply to you but I had a car accident But I am ok now (thank God)...
Chris about lights you are right....unfortunately I followed the Revell's manual...they are already repainted
My friend Barney I know the engine is not correct there are many wrong things...like the large spring clips for the valve cover gaskets and many others but I haven't any original photo of the motor as guide and I follow the Revell instructions.

I'm currently working on a 1/35 Tamiya Scwimmer. Man that Kubel is HUGE!!! It looks spectacular. Shows great workmanship and creativity with the working lights. That's too much Only one question "Does it Run?"
