Sorry for my long absence guys...
Wow, great work, they all look awesome Jesper! I have to agree with Emre on the banner master name though!

Thanks, glad you liked them

Keith, Robert, welcome aboard guys!
Build a Warrior, what a great idea, I might build that one for this campaign.
Robert, of course you can build it.

What's the name of this? Bears a slight resemblance to a Bionix.

Just to clarify my mind, is this considered mainly an APC campaign or is there a fuzzy line in which it might be a light armor campaign in which the vehicles can be wheeled or tracked or can only APC's be tracked? Is an armored car or designated armored scout vehicle classified as an AFV for the wheeled entries? Will infantry support light tanks such as the stuart be allowed or is this out of the scope? Just curious is all so I can determine what options are available out of my stash.

Well, Patrick, I am not the campaign leader so I do not have the final word. However, as I understand it and remember from the discussions before the campaign guidelines were finalized the following applies to the campaign:

You can build any AFV that runs on wheels. Sd. Kfz. 221, 222, 223, Puma, staghound, M8, Stryker, Pirahna etc. So an armd. car or scout vehicle would be fine if it is on wheels and not tracks.

You can also build any APC whether tracked or wheeled. M113, BMP family, BMD family, BTR family etc. The important thing is that it carry troops that at some point dismount and fight outside the vehicle. This means a Stuart tank does not qualify as the crew is supposed to fight from inside the vehicle.

Hope this helps to find suitable subjects in the stash

Great!

I have not decided my own entry yet, but I am really tempted by the Dragon Puma. Looks like a great kit and the vehicle in itself is very unique and attractive in my humble opinion.

Hi!
I have a question: does Sd.Kfz.7 Mittlere Zugkraftwagen 8t counts? It's main purpose was a artillery tractor, but it was also used as a personal carrier.

100% with Jesper here, 'nuff said!
Andrzerj, yup, like I said, as long as it was used to transport troops aswell, its allowed.
Hmm..I might build the Stryker MGS, and maybe some dio with some german half-track.
Wow, the campaign is still 4 months from now, but so many people have already signed up! Also, a request from the total noob that I am, perhaps someone could make a ribbon aswell?
I was thinking about something like this with an M113 in white, in the middle?

You can download the ribbon, without the backround here: http://www2.fdcp.nl/?Section=About_RibbonsBF2

Looks great Andrzej!
Maybe just make it a bit bigger and nothing else, I guess adding more things, would make it look "crowded".

Marek,

I'm glad you like it but making it bigger is impossible - this is exact size and format allowed for Armorama ribbons (50x20, GIF smaller than 1kB). I've also tried to add some more stuff to it (some stars, additional strips, that kind of stuff) but it looked too crowded indeed.

Great ribbon, Andrzej! I am already looking forward to mine

I have not found a build for this campaign yet, but I will probably go for Dragons Puma or another of the 4 axle German WWII kits.

Looking forward to get started
