Hi,
i was wondering if there is any mine-roller device available for the Tamyia T-55, and / or Dozer blades ?
If there are how good are they ?
Thanks for your time

Dozer blade in resin from Verlinden I believe...it is essentially a copy of the plastic one in the Trumpeter Finnish T-55. Trumpeter's version is good, but it also needs some work.
Mine roller...again, the best bet is the one in the Trumpeter made and packaged in both their T-72 and T-55 kits. T-72 version is preferred only because you can use the hull/running gear of the T-72 for another build...their T-55 is a bit too much work to mess with with the Tamiya T-55 on the market.

Thanks Jacques !
Great Job on your JS-2 by the way !
The mine-roller for the T-72 will fit on the T-55 ?
Maybe the best choice will be for the Trumpeter's kits and get a bunch of spares along with it right ?
Thanks again !
Also...i got the BMP-2 from Revell is it any good ?..haven't opened the box yet

Trumpeter used the same molds for both kits...for a KMT-4. It is passable ans it is supposedly used on all T-series tanks. Hard to confirm/deny at this point, as there is not a lot of photos of the system in use on either tank.
Revell BMP-2 is the reboxed DML kit. Lots of commentary in other threads.
Trumpeter T-72 can be fixed up to be presentable with a lot less work than the Trumpeter T-55 can.

Oops...This weekend i ordered at my LHS a Finnish T-55 with Mine-rollers...
Still waiting for the CMK interior set.
Are there any reference books you recommend ?
I already have tons of pics i gathered over the years, but since i'm doing the engine set and interior, i don't know if all the pics are enough.
Will keep you posted!

I can recomend the Kagero book on the T-55 and the Osprey book on building the T-55 as good resources.
