Some questions on your BMP-2 Jacques:
What colours/weathering did you use for the Gun barrel ?
I really liked the chipped / rusted paint , did you used oils ?
Great build !!

Thanks.
The gun barel was painted black and then rubber with graphite from a pencil, nothing more. I use a artists graphite pencil now, with a softer lead, so that may make a difference from a standard 2H pencil.
The chips were done using oils and the "green scrubby" or "sponge" method I was intrduced to by Biffa (Ron Goins). Look up the method, or Ron goins threads, and it should be fairly easy to see what I mean. I did not deviate too much compared to what he does on this build.

Thanks for the tips Jacques (and Ron) !
I'll build my BMP-2 from revell soon.
I don't know if the revell kit as any camo, i think it's only Dark Green / Olive Drab usual paint.
I will find some different paint schemes.
I really like your builds, the detail stands out and the weathering is just perfect !!
One day i'll send you a kit and a beer !
Take care !

It strikes me that track`s colour is a bit strange, isn`t it? And else, colour of the small round grid behind the turret should be silver, the exhaust tube is very clean and it`s better to make the ribbed cover at least a bit shabby
Cheers

Track color is "normal" black, gunmetal, and brown, but they have been "dusted" with pigments representing dust. It happens that the pigment color is close to the tan color of the BMP!
I do disagree with the color of the snorkle on the back deck. All photos I have seen of this show it either a rusty brown color or else the same color as the camoflauge. That does not mean that it cannot be silver, just that what I have for resources do not show that.
The exhaust is, I admit, less dirty than it can be, but there are SOME photos of in-field-use vehicles that do not have extensive exhaust "stains".
Finally, all other abuse was kept minimal just for the nature of the build.
