Good evening to all of you,
here are some pics of my KV-2 early build oob from Hobbyboss in quarterscale. It's my second try in 1/48 and I must say I really enjoyed it. For the first time I built a russian tank and also my first try at using MIG pigments and made some chipping. So any comments are welcome. Thanks for looking.
greetings ro

Your kit looks amazing. Simply stunning. However, i must say, the KV-2 sure is one UGLY looking tank

Looks amazing Robert. The only thing i can see that you shouldof done was to make a real tow cable instead of just leaving the plastic section. Other than that, good work.

Very nice. Looks like 1/35 scale to me and the chipping is not overdone. Great job.

Great job Robert !!
Hard to believe that it's 1/48th scale.
Darn, I wish they'd done more of these kinda kits when I was younger and building 1/48th scale aircraft.
The scale is perfect for Aircraft/AFV dioramas.
Now I'm stuck with all these bl**dy 1/35th scale kits cluttering my closets and shelves !!
Oh well, hindsight is 20/20.
Cheers

Looks great Rob, wonderful job with the finish and weathering. Like your tracks and road wheels, they came out great.

Thanks for sharing. Cheers -
